Zendesk’s award-winning marketing team is looking for a highly collaborative, hands-on senior marketer with extensive experience in email marketing and communications. In this role, you will lead our Engagement Marketing programme across EMEA, supporting Field Marketing campaigns across the entire customer lifecycle – demand generation to expansion and retention. This role reports to Senior Manager, EMEA Lifecycle Marketing and leads a team of 5 Engagement Marketing Specialists. This person will bring a programmatic approach to existing regional engagement workflows and processes and build links between various engagement tools and the teams. Focus on building the insights strategy to help us optimize and consolidate communication channels into a single voice and partner with global teams scaling global practices as well as sharing regional insights ! Do you have a passion for creative and engaging campaign marketing, can drive critical initiatives, have strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable leading yourself and an ambitious team ? Responsibilities

  • Develop and own program management, reporting, analysis and insights for all EMEA Engagement marketing channels and processes
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the team as well as mentor and develop them towards the next step in their career
  • Develop and own the EMEA Engagement Roadmap: Lead all aspects of the schedule of email marketing campaigns in EMEA and their integration into our global plans
  • Work with the Regional Field Marketing and extended go-to-market teams to drive adoption of engagement workflows, systems and programs
  • Collaborate with global Engagement and Lifecycle teams on scaling existing programmes in EMEA

 

Requirements

  • 8 years experience in regional or international engagement marketing, campaign management or field marketing. B2B and SaaS preferred.
  • Deep understanding of email marketing, customer lifecycle journeys and relevant tools and systems such as Eloqua, Marketo, Pendo Guide etc.
  • Experience managing a team and coaching and mentoring others
  • Data-driven approach to report regularly on metrics, identify where data is lacking and work with operational teams to improve processes – familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau is a plus
  • Outstanding project management and prioritization skills, leading multiple timelines with different collaborators
  • Customer-focused with empathy to help businesses improve how they engage with their customers
